Home Network Cleanup & Upgrade

Before

After

What you see here is something we encounter often: a tangled mess of wires and a hodge podge of different types of equipment. We came in, took out the old structured panel, cleaned up all of the wiring, and installed a new enclosed rack with the latest Ubiquiti equipment.

Pool House Network System

One of our long-time clients decided to build a pool house on the back of their property and enlisted our help in making sure it was ready for the future. In addition, they wanted to move where all of their existing networking equipment was located because they wanted to eventually turn the closet that housed everything into an elevator. We killed two birds with one stone, pre-wiring the pool house addition for data, WiFi access points, and speakers. We also ran tubing from the TVs to the equipment so that any future cabling could be run with ease. The second part of the project consisted of running new Cat6 cabling from every existing location, through an underground conduit we installed, into the pool house, which would now house the network equipment for the whole property, seen here. For future proofing, we ran an extra conduit from the house crawlspace to the pool house so that additions could be made.

Home Network Installation

A new client found us on Google and requested that we modernize his home with CAT6a cabling. He wanted everything house in a closet and loved our suggestion of installing a rack up high and out of the way. Normally, we secure all of our cabling in the rack to look nice and tidy, but this customer required a hinged rack that will open, allowing the equipment to be accessed from the back. As a result, we had to make sure to leave enough slack cabling to ensure that the rack would still be able to open and close.

Restaurant Office Transformation

Before

After

A local restaurant approached us about cleaning up their network room, which was in their office. We installed cable management trays to clean up the wiring and installed racks for the client's equipment, color coding all of the patch cables to their specifications. The restaurant was only closed from 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and could only have their internet down during those times, so our owner worked overnight, into the wee hours of the morning to make sure everything was changed over correctly and operational before the start of business.
